Committee formed to celebrate Science Day

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has formed a main celebration committee to observe the Seventh National Science Day on September 18.

The 43-member committee led by Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel has urged all sectors related to science and schools to observe the Day by organizing various programs.

The committee has also decided to mark the Day at the local and provincial levels. Likewise, the Education Ministry will mark the day of its establishment of the Amrit Science Campus as National Science Day.

It is Nepal’s first science college established in September 1962.
