Nepal Airlines making first direct flight to Japan

KATHMANDU: A Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) aircraft is directly heading to Japan tonight. The national flag carrier is flying its wide-body A330-200 to Osaka of Japan tonight.

The flight will take off from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TAI) at 2:30 am on Thursday with some 90 passengers on board the maiden flight. It will take around 6.5 hours to reach Osaka from Kathmandu.

NAC has plans to conduct three Japan flights a week — Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
