Nepal needs to beat Bhutan to enter SAFF U15 finals

KATHMANDU: Nepali cricket team is under pressure to defeat Bhutan in a match to be played with Bhutan on Thursday under SAFF U15 Championship 2019 being held in India to reach the finals.

In Tuesday’s match, Nepal had defeated Bangladesh 4-1, climbing up to the second position with six points.

Nepal and Bangladesh have got six points each. However, Nepal is a step ahead of Bangladesh on the basis of head-to-head competition.

India, meanwhile, is in the first position having nine points. Sri Lanka with three points is in the fourth position.

On Thursday, India will play with Bangladesh. Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Sri Lanka are taking part in the Championship.
