Rajinikanth to attend Modi’s swearing-in ceremony

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Rajinikanth congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his win in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, and promised to attend Modi’s swearing-in as Prime Minister for a second term, Indian media reports have said.

Sources said Rajinikanth has been invited to Modi’s swearing-in scheduled on May 30.

Rajinikanth said that the victory is a win for a person like Modi and described Modi as a ‘charismatic’ leader. (Agencies)
