Two arrested with Rs 40,000 bribe

POKHARA: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested two individuals on the charge of taking bribe of Rs 40,000 from service seekers in Pokhara.

The anti-graft body arrested Kumar Lamichhane, operator of Heavy Equipment Office, Pokhara and Khagendra Prasad Kafle, proprietor  of Metro Driving Center, Pokhara with the aforesaid bribe.

Both of them were arrested with the bribe from Bardali Restaurant and Bar based in Pokhara Metropolitan City, Damside, said CIAA.

The anti-graft body is carrying out investigation on Lamichhane and Kafle after taking them under control.
