NEW DELHI: India’s National Investigations Agency (NIA) carried out raids in Kerala’s three places on Sunday in connection with the Islamic State (IS) Kasaragod module case.

The three suspects are being suspected in the aftermath of the bombings in Sri Lanka last week.

Likewise, the NIA also ‘searched’ houses of the three suspects, who are suspected to have links with some terrorist outfits.

During today’s raid, the NIA retrieved digital devices such as mobile phones, SIM cards, pen drives, memory cards, and diaries with handwritten notes in Arabic and Malayalam.

NIA officers also recovered CDs with religious speeches, and books authored by Zakir Naik and Syed Kutheb. (Agencies)
