CIAA files case against former Commissioner Pathak

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a graft-case against former CIAA commissioner Raj Narayan Pathak at the Special Court on Tuesday.

According a report in Kantipur daily,  a CIAA meeting held  yesterday filed a case against Pathak and Lambodar Neupane, then chairman of Nepal Engineering College, seeking a fine of Rs 7.8 million. Both Pathak and Neupane have been mentioned as dependents in the case.

Pathak had taken Rs 7.8 million from Lambodar promising that he would settle a case related to the engineering college which was sub judice at the CIAA.
