Chief Minister Raut pledges compulsory law for child development

JANAKOUR: Chief Minister of State 2 Lalbabu Raut has assured of enacting mandatory laws to effectively implement early childhood development policies and programs.

Speaking at a program on constitutional rights and responsibilities for early childhood development in provincial structure’ at Janakpur on Wednesday, Chief Minister Raut emphasized the need of guaranteeing children’s’ proper health and development right from the mother’s womb as they were the future of the society.

He said that a child’s right to health and development will be guaranteed by enacting mandatory laws towards that end.
