Bomb goes off near NCP poll campaign site in Pokhara



POKHARA: A bomb has gone off near an election campaign site organized by ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in Pokhara on Wednesday.

The bomb exploded at the Exhibition Center in Pokhara Metropolitan City-9 this afternoon.

Top leaders of NCP including chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam have reached the election campaign site.

However, the election campaign assembly has not been disturbed. Pushpa Kamal Daha is addressing the mass gathering, currently.

Police have said the explosion has damaged a bus parked near the site. However, no human casualties have been reported.
