Nepal posts 133 runs target for Zimbabwe



KATHMANDU: Nepal has posted 133 runs target for Zimbabwe in its first match of Singapore Twenty20 Tri-Series being played in Singapore on Friday evening.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal managed to notch up 132 runs on the board losing six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee top-scored at 40 runs off 33 balls hitting five fours. Likewise, Sompal Kami (not out) and skipper Paras Khadka made 25 and 18 runs respectively.

Sean Williams of Zimbabwe sent two Nepali batsmen back to the pavilion as Wellington Masakadza, Tendai Chatara, Neville Madziv and Ryan Burl took one wicket each.
