Four killed in twin Kathmandu explosions identified

KATHMANDU: Identification of all the four killed in twin explosions in the Capital City on Sunday has been established.

Identification of one killed in an explosion in Ghattekulo was ascertained earlier yesterday. The deceased is Prajwal Shahi of Bajhang.

Likewise, identification of three killed when a bomb went off in Sukedhara has been ascertained. Those killed are Nirantar Malla, 45, and Dipen BK alias Bhimuram, 40, of Kalikot and Gokul Ranamagar of Dang.

One died on the spot while two others while undergoing treatment at the Chabahil-based Om Hospital. Seven people were injured in the explosion. Of them, three are receiving treatment at Om Hospital and one at Bir Hospital.

Ravin KC, who was injured in the explosion in Ghattekulo, is being treated at Bir Hospital.

Similarly, Buddha Lama, 30, of Lalitpur and Bikram Lama, 29, of Chandragiri-3 were injured when a bomb exploded at a brick kiln at Chandragiri-3.

Police said Buddha is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital and Bikram at the Kalanki-based Saheed Memorial Hospital.
