KATHMANDU: Home Ministry has directed the security personnel to escort public vehicles to make the transportation smooth during Bipalv out-fit-announced banda on Monday.

A meeting of the Home Ministry on Sunday evening  took a decision to this effect to foil the the Band announced by the Biplav outfit.

Four cadres of Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand died in the time bomb explosion owing to the miscalculation of time setting. Other seven cadres sustained injuries in the explosion.

According to a report of Nay Patrika daily, the bomb been planted to set off at 4:15 am on Monday to make the banda a success. However, it went off 12 hours earlier, killing four Biplav cadres.

The time bomb went off at Ghattekulo, Sukedhara and Nagdhunga simultaneously yesterday.

A bomb disposal squad of Nepal Army had diffused the the bombs found at Lagankhel and Gwarko on Sunday night.

Biplav outfit had announced a nationwide banda in protest of its cadre killed by Nepal Police in Bhojpur district.
