Nepal enters ACC U-16 Eastern Region-2019 final

KATHMANDU: Nepal entered the final of the ACC U-16 Eastern Region- 2019 defeating Hong Kong by four wickets in the semifinal match played at Prem Tinsulanonda International School, Thailand on Saturday.

Nepal chased down the 87 runs target set by Hong Kong in 21.4 overs losing six wickets. Aaish Bhattarai top-scored for Nepal at 17 runs.  Rohan Dudhraj BK and Krish Karki contributed 14 and 12 runs for Nepal.

Brij Narain Sheopuri of Hong Kong took three wickets as Ahan Kanhi Trivedi grabbed two wickets in his kitty.

Earlier, Hong Kong posted 86 runs on the board losing all wickets at 32.2 overs of the match. Aarush Bhagwat was top scorer for Hong Kong at 43 runs off 83 balls.

For Nepal, Nikhil Kumar Singh took four wickets while Ramesh Kurmi and Bishal Kumar Patel took grabbed two wickets each.
