Govt decides to remove haphazard wires, hoarding boards in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to remove haphazard wires, hoarding boards, pamphlets and posters among others in Kathmandu.

A meeting of concerned stakeholders held under the chairmanship of Minister for Home Affairs, Ram Bahadur Thapa, on Thursday decided to that effect.

The meeting decided to start removing haphazard wires, hoarding boards, pamphlets and posters among others in Kathmandu Metropolis by forming four groups from Friday.

The meeting also decided to direct the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration in the case of local units.
