RATNANAGAR: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said youths need to be more active to make the Visit Year 2020 successful.
Inaugurating the 46th general convention of Nepal Jaycees here Wednesday, Chairman Dahal viewed holding the event at the gate of Sauraha was significant indeed in terms of forthcoming Visit Year.
He informed that all seven States would launch the Visit Year at once. On a different note, Chairman Prachanda urged the youths to institutionalize new political system gained after long time struggle and sacrifice. “Youths are the real base of prosperity. Jaycees has helped build youth leadership,” he stressed. The government has aimed at bringing in 2 million tourists in 2020.
The popular tourist destination in the country, Sauraha has been preparing itself for welcoming the Visit Year with fanfare. The Jaycees general convention will elect new leadership. More than 2,500 people have been attending the convention.
