Border outpost to be set up at Korala checkpoint



MUSTANG: A border outpost of Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) is to be established at Korala Checkpoint in Mustang District.

The border outpost is set to be established at Nechung of Lomanthang Rural Municipality-1 for the security of the post.

According to Chief District Officer (CDO) Bed Prasad Aryal of the District Security Committee, the BOP will be set up by the second week of December.

CDO Aryal further said that a total of 35 APF personnel will be stationed at the checkpoint under the leadership of police inspector.

The office building of the border outpost will be constructed in the area of 33 ropanis of land.
