Two German nationals rescued in Nepal

DOLPA: Two German nationals who were down with altitude sickness in Upper Dolpa have been rescued on Saturday.

They had fallen ill after they reached Sula and Mukot lakes in Chharka Tansong rural municipality of Upper Dolpa. The two backpackers were rescued by helicopter and flown to Kathmandu, Chief District Officer, Mukesh Kumar Joshi, said.

Police said the name and address of the two Germans could not be ascertained as the photocopy of the rescue permission was not readable.
