Number of Int’l airlines operating flights to Nepal reaches 31



KATHMANDU: The number of international airlines operating flights to and from Nepal has reached 31. After the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation granted permissions to Indian airlines SpiceJet, Kuwaiti airlines Jazeera Airways and Indian airlines Air Vistara, the number has reached 31.

Earlier, 28 international airlines had been providing their services to and from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

After the permission, Jazeera Airways will operate 7 flights in a week, the highly-placed source said. It will depart from TIA at 4:20 pm. However, SpiceJet and Vistara are yet to receive flight schedules.
