Cabinet doles out Rs 300,000 each to acid attack victims



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to provide relief assistance to the victims of the recent acid attacks.

A recent meeting of Council of Ministers decided to provide Rs 300,000 each to acid attack victims Jenny Khadka and Muskan Khatun, Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota said at a regular press briefing on Thursday.

The meeting also decided to sign a preliminary air service agreement between Nepal and Australia, add service period of Major General Prabhuram Sharma by one year, two months and 15 days and transfer Additional Inspector Generals of Nepal Police among others.
