Bomb goes off in Chitwan, one injured

CHITWAN: One person was injured as a bomb went off at Rapti Municipality-6 of the district on Monday afternoon.

Spokesperson at District Police Office Ek Narayan Koirala said that local Rajan Silwal was injured in the explosion at around 1 pm.

Silwal has sustained injuries in his hand and chest. Police suspect the bomb was planted by the Netra Bikram Chan alias Biplav-led outfit. The outfit has called district closure for today.
