LONDON: Britain’s junior interior minister Kit Malthouse said the country would hold an emergency budget in the autumn.
The country hopes a faster-growing economy and will also allow it to pay for spending pledges, he said.
Boris Johnson, who took office as the country’s new Prime Minister on Wednesday, has promised a raft of spending pledges. He has also vowed to increase the number of police by 20,000 to help cut crime. (Agencies)
