CM Gurung offers sorrow over loss in flooding

POKHARA: Chief Minister (CM) of Gandaki Province Prithivi Subba Gurung has expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and physical property caused by the recent flooding in Dordi river.

In a statement issued today, CM Gurung extended condolences to the deceased’s families and tribute to the killed in the flooding.

He asked all concerned to support in rescue and relief efforts. At least 11 people have been swept away by the flooded Dordi river.

Four bodies were recovered, and seven others have been missing in the disaster, police said.
