Pakistani leader rains blows on journalist

ISLAMABAD: A TV talk show on a Pakistani news channel virtually turned into a battleground when one of the leaders attacked another panelist over an argument on a live news show.

On the “News Line with Aftab Mugheri” show was one of the panelists Masroor Ali Siyal, a ruling party leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), another was Karachi Press Club President Imtiaz Khan. The video of the show was shared by a Pakistani journalist.

The video shows PTI leader Masroor Ali Siyal warning Imtiaz Khan that he would not tolerate anything (could be the way Imtiaz Khan was debating).

When Imtiaz responded in a similar manner, and in a high-pitched voice, Masroor held Imtiaz by his hand and thrashed him off his chair.

Imtiaz then got up and attacked the Masroor Ali, the PTI leader. (Agencies)
