Trump describes North Korean missiles as ‘small weapons’



TOKYO: US President Donald Trump has described North Korean missile tests ‘small weapons’.

In a tweet shortly after his arrival in Japan today, US President Trump called the missiles “small weapons”.

Trump said he is keen to strike a deal with Japan to address a trade imbalance between the US and Japan. President Trump is on a state visit to Japan. He also had a chat with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Trump and Aba also had their breakfast together before they headed out to play 16 holes of golf in Chiba, near Tokyo. (Agencies)
