Former UK PM Blair says Britain is in a ‘mess’

LONDON: Former Prime Minister of Britain Tony Blair has said that Britain was in a mess.

He warned that neither the Conservative Party led by Prime Minister Boris Johnson nor the Labor Party deserved to win the December 12 election, international media reports have said.

Stating that Britain is in a mess, Blair added that the optimism in the world economy has kept Britain going up to now.

Blair, who was the prime minister from 1997 to 2007, has been calling for Brexit to be reversed.

Britain is holding an election in December this year three years ahead of schedule as the parliament has become deadlocked over Brexit. (Agencies)
