LALITPUR: Police have arrested two persons on the charge of offering a bribe to cops in a hope of getting off the hook.

Police on Sunday night arrested Sandeep Maharjan, 25 and Ripu Maharjan for offering Rs 2,000 kickback to police squad deployed at Lalitpur Metropolis-12, Lagankhel.

During a security check, police recovered 50 grams of marijuana while examining scooter, Ba 88 Pa 612, they were traveling in.
