POKHARA: An unidentified group has detonated a bomb targeting a car parked inside the residence of Pokhara Metropolitan City-33 Ward Chair, Shiva Prasad Acharya, at Himalitol of Pokhara-17.

The bomb exploded inside the Hilux SUV (Ga 2 Cha 426) used by Ward Chair Acharya at 2 am today, chief of the Gandaki State Police Office, Binod Sharma Ghimire, who reached the incident site, said.

The explosion has caused a hole on the wall of the nearby house also. Eleven people were sleeping inside the house at that time, said Nep Bahadur Pariyar. Police said the investigation is on into the incident.
