AFC fines ANFA USD 10,000



KATHMANDU: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has fined the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) USD 35,000 for violating Article 4C01) of the AFC Cop Club Licensing Regulations.

The regional football governing body said that USD 25,000 of the amount is suspended for a probationary period of two years.

In case of another violation of a similar nature occur within the probationary period, the suspension is automatically revoked and the sanction applied; it is added to the sanction pronounced for the new infringement, AFC stated.

The suspended portion of the fine referred to in Paragraph I i.e. USD 10,000 should be settled within thirty days of the date that this decision is communicated, it said.
