NCP suggests names for Dang-3(B) by-polls

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepal Communist Party’s (NCP) constituency committee of the ruling has recommended three names for its candidacy to contest the by-election to be held in Dang-3(B) constituency of the Province 5 Assembly.

The election will be held on November 30.

The party central leaders will now select one from among the three recommended candidates to contest the polls

The constituency committee has recommended Churna Bahadur Oli, Bimala Oli and Shubha Ram Basnet.

While Churna is NCP’s constituency coordinator, Bimala is the widow of the constituency’s provincial lawmaker Uttar Kumar Oli.

Uttar died in a road accident in February this year.
