RJPN meeting taking place today

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Rashtriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN) is taking place in the capital on Friday.

The meeting is expected to fix the date for the party’s general convention.

RJPN had announced to hold its first general convention within a year after the new party came into being following the merger of six fringe Madhes-centric parties on April 20, 2017.

The date for the party’s general convention has been postponed four times already.

The last meeting had decided to hold the general convention on November 13-16.
