Bharatpur declared a ‘restricted’ zone

CHITWAN: District Administration Office, Chitwan has declared some areas of Bharatpur as restricted zone from 6 am Monday.

The restrictions have been imposed as per the Local Administration Act 2028 as the ongoing demonstrations in favor of television presenter Rabi Lamichhane have been disturbing the everyday administrative works and service delivery.

According to the local administration, the restriction will be imposed until further notice.

Anyone demonstrating or creating obstructions in the designated areas breaching the notice will be punishable according to the law, the notice said.
