India’s former minister Jaitley to be cremated today

NEW DELHI: India’s former finance minister Arun Jaitley’s mortal remains is said to be cremated at Delhi’s Nigam Bodh Ghat today.

The body of Jaitley has been brought to the BJP headquarters for the public and party workers to pay their last respects.

Jaitley’s final journey, reports suggest, will begin there to the Nigambodh Ghat for the last rites, BJP said.

India’s President Ram Nath Kovind has already paid tributes to Jaitley. (Agencies)
