Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation get financial support for stadium construction

CHITWAN: Dhurmus Suntali Foundation has got around Rs 5.5 million from the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to construct the Gautam Budhha International Cricket Stadium in Chitwan.

President of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sahan Lal Pradhan on Thursday handed over the check to Foundation Chairman Sitaram Kattel alias ‘Dhurmus’.

Pradhan assured of increasing the financial assistance to Rs 10 million. The Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry had earlier assured of providing Rs 10 million for the construction of the stadium.

Likewise, Chairperson of District Cricket Association, Kailash Pradhan, handed over a check worth Rs 255,555 to Kattel.

Also today, Thapaliya Brothers and Suppliers of Chitwan district announced to provide sanitary materials for the stadium.

The stadium is being constructed at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-15.
