14-member squad announced for ICC U-19 Eastern Region

KATHMANDU: A 14-member squad led by skipper Rohit Kumar Poudel has been announced on Tuesday for the ICC U-19 Eastern Region Cricket 2019 to be held in Malaysia.

Nepal has been pooled in Group ‘A’ along with Singapore, Myanmar and China. Hong Kong, Thailand, Bhutan and host Malaysia have been placed in Group ‘B’. Nepal will face Myanmar in its first match on July 2, Singapore on July 5 and play against China on July 6.

Nepali team:

Rohit Kumar Poudel (Captain), Reet Gautam, Pawan Sharaff, Bhim Sharki, Kushal Malla, Rashid Khan, Kama Singh Airee, Sagar Dhakal, Hari Bahadur Chhauhan, Pratis GC, Khadka Bohara, Tilak Bhandari, Bishal Bikram KC and Lokesh Bam.
