KATHMANDU: Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav has called a nationwide band today. Bombs and suspicious objects have been found in various places in the country. However, its impact is insignificant in the capital.

Few motorcycles and buses are plying the road. Security has been tightened with the police personnel deployed in different junctions in the capital.

Biplav outfit has called a band today to protest the killing of Kumar Paudel, Sarlahi district in-charge associated with the outfit on Thursday afternoon.

The government said that Paudel was killed in an exchange of fire while the outfit has been saying that Paudel was murdered intentionally. The Home Ministry has formed an investigation team to look into the case.
