Most of vehicles in Kathmandu fail pollution standard test

KATHMANDU: Most of the vehicles plying in the Kathmandu Valley have failed the environment pollution standard test.

The pollution standard test launched by the traffic police since April 4 concluded Thursday. According to the Traffic Division Chief SSP Basanta Kumar Panta, most of the vehicles did not meet the standard.

Nearly one million vehicles are operated daily in the Kathmandu Valley.
