ACC U-16 ER: Nepal sets 235-run target for Thailand

KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a target of 235 runs for Thailand at the ACC U-16 Eastern Region- 2019 being held at Prem Tinsulanonda International School in Thailand on Thursday.

Electing to bat first after winning toss, Nepal scored 234 runs in the allotted 35 runs. Aaish Bhattarai top-scored with 58 runs including nine fours off 73 balls, Bishal Bikram KC made 38 runs including four fours off 31 balls while Deepak Bohara contributed 35 runs including five fours off 36 balls.

In reply, Narawit Nuntarach took highest three wickets of Nepal giving away 41 runs in seven overs. Likewise, Yodsak Saranonnakkun grabbed two wickets conceding 37 runs  in seven overs while Sorawat Desungnoen claimed one wicket.

The match was halted due to rain after Nepal took one wicket of Thailand in 1.5 overs.
