XI’AN (CHINA): Nepal’s national flag has been hoisted at the top of the Hotel Peoples Grand , where President Bidya Devi Bhandari has been accommodated.
President Bhandari, who is on the State Visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, had reached Xi’an, the centre of Shaanxi Province, on April 24.
The hotel was established in 1953 . Xi’an has total population of around 10 million while Shaanxi Province has roughly 38 million people, said an official.
