Pipeline and fuel storage project to cost around Rs 41 bln



KATHMANDU: A preliminary investigation has shown that around Rs 41 billion is required for the construction of oil storage and laying pipelines of petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

A study made by Nepal Oli Corporation (NOC) in collaboration with the Institute of Engineering (IoE), Pulchowk , has said that the estimated cost of six four pipelines and six oil storage will cost Rs 41 billion 144 million ,500 thousand.

NOC, the state oil monopoly,  is planning to built oil storage that will hold 270 thousand kiloliters of petroleum products and 80 thousand metric tons of LPG.
