NVC recommends action against 1,760 govt officials



KATHMANDU: National Vigilance Center (NVC) has recommended action against 1,760 government officials.

They were recommended action during the monitoring conducted in 167 offices at the local bodies in the first five months of the current fiscal year 2019/20.

According to NVC, the 1, 445 officials were found not reporting to the office on time while the 315 others violated the office dress code.

Of the total staffers recommended for action, only 524 have been penalized so far, according Dal Nath Aryal, spokesperson at the Center.
