Rape-accused Siddha Baba remanded to 3 days in custody

SUNSARI: District Court Sunsari on Monday remanded rape-accused Krishna Bahadur Giri popularly known as Siddha Baba to 3 more days in judicial custody for investigation. This is the fifth and final remand for him by the court.

Police will present Siddha Baba in the court for bail hearing after three days of investigation. A provision has it that the investigation should be completed with 25 days.

The district attorney office will file a case against him based on the investigation carried out by the police.

Police on December 2 had arrested Siddha Baba from the ICU of Birat Nursing Home on the charge of attempting to rape his own follower.
