Lumbini Buddhist University’s accountant arrested with bribe

BUTWAL: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Sunday arrested an accountant at Lumbini Buddhist University with kickback.

A CIAA team deployed from Butwal arrested Ratneshwor Tiwari with Rs 25,000 bribe.

Spokesperson at CIAA Butwal Office Suresh Bhushal said that Tiwari was arrested while receiving a commission for purchasing essential goods for the university.

The anti-graft body said they are investigating the case further.
