Two youths arrested with band drugs

SIRAHA: Siraha police has arrested two men with banned drugs from Bhotiya Chowk of Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality-6.

Acting on a tip-off that the narcotic drug was being ferried, a quad of police deployed from Police Post Sitapur arrested 21-year-old Amaresh Yadav and Pankaj Yadav of the same age of Balan Bihul Rural Municipality-1.

Police intercepted two bikers coming to Nepal from India and confiscated 10 ampules of morphine, 10 ampules of diazepam and 10 ampules of promethazine from their possession.

The District Police Office, Lahan said they are investigating the case after taking them under control.

Meanwhile, police have destroyed around 3,000 plants of marijuana in the district.
