Krishna Bahadur Mahara being produced at court today



KATHMANDU: Rape-accused outgoing House Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara is being produced at the court today.

Mahara is being presented before the court since his remand extended for the second time to investigate him is expiring today.

It has not been decided yet whether to extend his remand or file an accusation complaint against him.

According to Gyan Bahadur Karki, information officer at the Kathmandu District Court, a single bench of judge Sudarshan Raj Pandey is likely to hear Mahara’s case today.

However, it is subject to the decision of the district prosecutor’s office.
