Afghanistan scores highest T20 total

DEHRADUN: Afghanistan has made the highest record in T20 International. The team has won a game against Ireland by 84 runs in second T20I. Earlier, Ireland set a target of 194 runs, losing 6 wickets. Here is the list of records:

278/3 : Afghanistan’s total was the highest in all T20 cricket. The previous record was Australia’s 263/6 scored against Sri Lanka in 2016.

236 : The partnership between Afghanistan’s opening pair Hazratullah Zazai and Usman Ghani was the highest for any wicket in all T20 cricket.

162* : Zazai’s innings was the second-highest T20I score, after Aaron Finch’s 172 for Australia against Zimbabwe last year.

16 : The number of sixes hit by Zazai – the most in a T20I innings. Hazratullah Zazai was  hitting 27 boundaries.

42 : The number of balls it took Zazai to reach his century – the third-fastest in men’s T20Is.

91 : Paul Stirling’s score was the highest by an Ireland batsman in T20I cricket.
