KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading Pvt.Ltd (STPL) has launched Michelin tires in Nepal on Tuesday at a program in Kathmandu.

Pradeep Thampy, General Manager of Michelin for SAARC region and Rajan Babu Shrestha, CEO of Sipradi jointly unveiled the Michelin logo and products.

Launching the Michelin tires in Nepal,  Pradeep Thampy, General Manager of Michelin for SAARC region said, ” The introduction of the Michelin tires with Sipradi, the company is glad to expand our reach in Nepal “.

Likewise, Rajan Babu Shrestha, CEO of Sipradi said, “The performance of the customers’ vehicle using Michelin tires will improve their productivity and get another reason for a better way forward”.

Michelin, a French tire company, provides tires to over 170 countries with 69 production facilities around the world having a history of 130 years. Michelin sells tires for airplanes, automobiles, bicycles, earthmovers, farm equipment, heavy-duty trucks, and motorcycles. Michelin tires are available in Nepal for SUV and passenger vehicle, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.

Sipradi has also established a state of the art tire retread center in Butwal.  The center has been developed as per Michelin standards with all the processing equipment and raw materials directly imported from Michelin company.

For easy availability for the product, the company developed a network of dealers throughout the country including exclusive showrooms in Kathmandu and Butwal.
