Dhakal assumes office as DG of Department of Drug Administration

KATHMANDU: Narayan Dhakal has assumed the office as the Director-General of the Department of Drug Administration on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) gave a letter entrusting him with the responsibility as per the interim order of the Supreme Court.

Dhakal said that assumed the office as the Director-General.

Earlier, the MoHP had installed Dhakal to the post of Chief of National Medicine Laboratory under the employment adjustment.

He had then filed a writ at the Supreme Court (SC) demanding to stop implementation of the decision.
