Organizations provide Rs 2.5 million to PM Relief Fund



KATHMANDU: A relief fund of Rs 2.5 million has been handed over to Prime Minister KP Oli to be deposited in the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

While the Kedia Organization Trust provided a check worth Rs 1.5 million, the Authorized Trade Union of Civil Servants handed over a check worth Rs 1 million to the Fund.

Madan Lal Kedia, Treasurer of the Kedia Organization Trust, and Punya Prasad Dhakal, Union Chairman handed over the checks to PM Oli at the PM’s official residence at Baluwatar on Wednesday.

PM Oli lauded financial support to the victims of flood and landslides. On the occasion, he also stressed the need to make the administration transparent while expressing the belief that the citizens would get a positive message towards the government.
