Biplav outfit’s Sarlahi district in-charge killed in retaliation



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal has claimed that Sarlahi district in-charge of Biplav outfit Kumar Paudel died in a confrontation with the police.

Speaking at a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the Parliament, Minister Thapa stated that Paudel was killed in a retaliation after the his group first opened fire on the police.

Paudel had been killed in the jungle of Lakhandehi of Lalbandi Municipality at 2 pm on June 20.
