Kid’s eardrum ‘ruptured’ after teacher’s beating

KATHMANDU: Five-year-old Yestar Rai lost her hearing capacity after being allegedly beaten by her teacher.

Yestar, first grader  at Little Angels School based in Kamal Rural Municipality-5, Sitapuri Chowk, Jhapa, got her eardrum ruptured after the beating.

Following the complaints of hear loss, Yestar was taken to Damak-based Himal Clinic, Durga Rai, mother of the victim told Khabarhub.

After the treatment was impossible at the clinic, she was referred to Biratnagar. The incident took place on Monday.
